​The Florida Times Union (internship)                                                August 2018- Current 

• Cover local high school football games, taking statistics during the game, interviewing coaches, and players. 

• Cover Jacksonville Jaguar games, conducting fan interviews, and player interviews. 

• Create a relevant piece for high school post-game, as well as Jacksonville Jaguar post-game. 

• Research local athletes that are playing their sport at a higher level after high school.

1010XL (part-time internship)                                                     August 2018- Current

·     Using Adobe Auditon create weekly commercials for the on-air slots. 

·     Update the show log for the following weeks on-air shows.

·     Assist in remote broadcast locations, operating the production board and setting up equipment. 

·     Work promotional events, greeting fans, and doing give aways for sponsors.

Inside Jacksonville at UNF (capstone class)                          August 2018- Current 

• Pitch evergreen and local story ideas to be used for television packages. 

• Create 2-2:30 minute television packages.

• Operate the teleprompter during show production. 

• Write AP style article based off my television package.

• Post show tease videos on Inside Jacksonville’s social media accounts.  

Former Internship

College Sports Today                                                                    May 2018-August 2018

• Research and share brief breaking news stories in college sports. 

• Co-Host the live stream show on select nights.

• Promote College Sports Today on Social Media accounts. 

• Post show teases on College Sports today Facebook page and Twitter. 

 

Recent Accomplishments at UNF:

During Spring of 2018 The University of North Florida worked with The Florida Times Union editorial board to produce “Uncovering Jax” where I completed two AP style articles that were published online, as well as a television package. During this time UNF also partnered with Operation Cold Case where I covered a cold case from 1966, which was later published online.
